The 86th District

Stretching from 25th Street in Marion County, to 116th Street in Hamilton County, the 86th District is a microcosm of Central Indiana. With western borders of Michigan Road, Grandview, Harcourt, and Hamilton-Boone County line, and eastern borders of Westfield, Keystone, and Park Street, the 86th District includes neighborhoods like Crown Hill, Pickwick Commons, Butler-Tarkington, Meridian-Kessler, Greenbriar, West Clay, and Williams Creek.

Families in the district send their children to IPS, Washington Township, and Carmel-Clay schools, and a variety of parochial and private schools.  All of those who call the 86th District home share common concerns -- the strength of the Hoosier economy, the promise of their children's future, the safety of their communities, and the health and well-being of their aging parents.
